Interactive Jobs Map Find out about how jobs supported by the UK oil and gas industry are distributed across the UK by following the link to our interactive map. This shows the number of people employed in each Westminster parliamentary constituency, defined by the following categories: Direct employment - those employed directly by oil and gas companies and their major contractors. Supply chain employment - those employed in the wider supply chain through contracts with oil and gas companies. Induced employment - those in jobs supported by economic activity induced by employees' spending throughout the economy. The map is fully interactive and can display all combinations of these types of employment. Full instructions are provided.
